This design has superseded the Germanium Fuzz design. Version 1 of this pedal includes the original Germanium Fuzz circuit board with off-board components. Again, this is a Fuzz Face clone. This design made a few mods from my previous clone. The tone control is based off of the Big Muff tone control and it has a better volume control. The pedal include a 2N5088 silicon transistor and a MP38A germanium transistor. This hybrid design gives a classic sound with some modern gain.
The Q1 transistor is the 2N5088 and Q2 is the MP38A Russian germanium transistor.
