Nuka Cola is a fictional soft drink from the popular game Fallout. The run down vending machines found in game help to solidify the post-apocalyptic aesthetic that Fallout stands for. Fallout was one of my top picks growing up and since I’ve wanted a mini fridge for my man cave for a while, I wanted to make a Fallout-themed fridge.

I found this mini fridge at Target and it was decently cheap. I started by masking off the seals around the door and the rear panel.Next I painted the entire fridge red with a high quality spray paint. I allowed time between coats and applied 2 coats total.

Next, came the front logo. I used a Nuka Cola font I found and made a template. Then cut the design out using a Cricut. To make the letters look old and worn, I used a razor blade to cut small sections out to make the lettering look cracked. I also used some brown paint to discolor the entire fridge. Below you can see the before and after this process.

In the corners some rust spots were added.

Overall, this Fallout themed fridge turned out great. It’s a fun addition to any man cave. I also added some Nuka Cola pint glasses, bottle caps, and a bobble head.
