After I made the Skyrim Daedric Dagger and the Steel Longsword, I knew I wanted some way to mount them on my wall. I found a reference picture online, and then I just used that to trace the shape on a piece of wood.
To hold the swords, I used metal pegs inserted into the wood to create supports.
I routed the edge and then stained the board to create a pretty good looking plaque.
The end result turned out very impressive.
